CreateReceipt

Allows you to add draft expense claim receipts.

Deprecation and Removal Notice This function will be deprecated in Linx from 6 December 2025 and will be removed entirely in late May 2026.

After the removal date, this function will no longer work in Linx solutions because the underlying Xero API endpoint is being retired by Xero.

Properties

Authentication

Authentication values used to connect to the Xero server.

Receipt

Receipt to create.

Mandatory fields:

• Date: Date of receipt - YYYY-MM-DD.

• Contact: See contacts.

• LineItems: At least one line item is required to create a complete receipt.

• User: The user in the organisation that the expense claim receipt is for.

Output

Receipt

The receipt created.
